To use the Tap and Tag app as a digital business card, scanner, and invoice maker, follow these steps:

  • Install the Tap and Tag App: Download and install the Tap and Tag app from the relevant app store for your device (e.g., Google Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS).

  • Sign Up or Log In: Open the app and either sign up for a new account or log in using your existing Tap and Tag credentials.

  • Set Up Your Digital Business Card: In the app, navigate to the "Digital Business Card" section. Fill in your contact information, such as name, phone number, email address, website, and any other relevant details you want to include. Customise the design and appearance of your digital business card.

• Share Your Digital Business Card: To share your digital business card with others, open the app and go to your "Digital Business Card" section. Use the app's sharing options to send your card via NFC, email, text message, or other communication channels. When sharing via NFC, simply tap your device with NFC capability against another compatible device or NFC reader to transfer your digital business card.

  • Use the Scanner Feature: To utilise the scanner feature, open the app and navigate to the "Scanner" section. Use your device's camera to scan traditional paper business cards. The app will capture the relevant information and store it digitally, saving you from manual data entry.

  • Generate Invoices: In the app, locate the "Invoice" section. Create professional invoices by entering the necessary details such as customer information, items or services provided, quantities, rates, and payment terms. Customise the invoice template and design to suit your branding. Save or send the generated invoices directly to your clients

  • To use an NFC tag placed at the back of your phone to replace a traditional business card, follow these steps:

    1. Select an NFC Tag: Choose an NFC tag. Store your contact information and any additional details you want to include.

    2. Program the NFC Tag: Use our app to program the tag. Follow the instructions provided by the app to write your contact information onto the NFC tag.

    3. Attach the NFC Tag: Clean the back of your phone to ensure a smooth surface for the NFC tag to adhere to. Peel off the adhesive backing of the NFC tag and carefully place it on the back of your phone, ensuring it is centred and aligned properly. Press it firmly to secure it in place.

    4. Customise the NFC Tag: Tap and Tag app allows you to customise the data stored on the NFC tag. You can add additional information such as your website, social media profiles, or a personalised message. Follow the instructions in the app to make any desired customisations.

    5. Share Your NFC Tag: When you want to share your contact information, simply instruct the recipient to tap their NFC-enabled device (e.g., smartphone) against the NFC tag placed at the back of your phone. Ensure the NFC feature is enabled on both devices. The NFC tag will transmit your contact information to their device.

    6. Verify Compatibility: Before relying solely on NFC tags, ensure that the recipient's device supports NFC technology. Not all smartphones or devices have built-in NFC capabilities.

    7. Test and Update: Periodically test the functionality of the NFC tag by tapping it with an NFC-enabled device. If any of your contact information or details change, update the NFC tag accordingly to ensure the most up-to-date information is being shared.

By following these steps, you can effectively use an NFC tag placed at the back of your phone to replace a traditional business card. It allows for quick and contactless sharing of your contact information, making networking more efficient and convenient.
